Mike Allen lives in Roanoke, Virgina, with his wife Anita, two comical dogs and a demonic cat. He's had about 150 poems (among them several collaborations) published in places such Asimov's Science Fiction and Nebula Awards Showcase 2005; his much rarer short stories have appeared in Interzone and H.P. Lovecraft's Magazine of Horror. Prime Books intends to release his first book length collection, Strange Wisdoms of the Dead, in late 2005. In Mike's spare time, he's both editor of the poetry journal Mythic Delirium and president of the Science Fiction Poetry Association, thus insuring that, in fact, he has no spare time. By day he's a newspaper reporter; his favorite assignment to date remains his interview with the inventor of The World's Only Ass-Kicking Machine. His website is www.descentintolight.com. |
