KC Wilder, poet, fiction writer, and musician, currently lives
in the Western US. His writings have appeared in hundreds
of publications around the world, including, recently, Seattle
Review, Poetry New Zealand, Lichen, Poetry Canada, Pacific
Review, Contemporary Rhyme, and Feathertale Review. His
acts of public protest against government assaults on freedom
of speech have been documented in the New York Times and
elsewhere. He has performed with a 40-piece orchestra, as a
singer, and has written music and performed with a variety of
indie bands. He has taught writing at the State University of
New York. In the '80s/'90s he published and edited an internationally
distributed music magazine that was rated highly
by review media, culminating in Wilder's 20-city speaking
and performance tour. He has published literary magazines,
including ten pocket-sized literary mags that featured unique
writings by Allan Ginsberg, Don Webb, and others. Wilder is
currently at work on a graphic novel. |
