Bryan Thao Worra is one of the first Laotian American
writers. He is the literary editor for Tripmaster Monkey
Magazine and Bakka Magazine, as well as advisor to
AsianAmericanPoetry.com and a freelance writer for
Asian American Press. He has been a Special Guest at the
Twin Cities multicultural speculative fiction convention,
Diversicon, and presents widely on issues of culture, folklore,
and mythology. His work is featured in over 60 international
publications in Singapore, England, Germany, Australia, and
across the USA, including TOTU, G-Fan: The International
Journal of Godzilla Fans, Illumen, and the Journal of the
Asian American Renaissance. His first full-length book of
speculative poetry, On the Other Side of the Eye, will be released
in August. He lives in the Twin Cities. You can visit
