Elissa Malcohn lives in Cambridge, Massachussetts. Her fiction has appeared in such markets as Amazing, Aboriginal, Full Spectrum, and TOTU #4. She recently began her own freelance writing and editing outfit, Malcohn Enterprises. She writes that last summer "was spent masterminding 11 directies and one picture book, along with writing several corporate pieces, ghostwriting for a videographer, and transcribing interviews and speeches. The business plan and New Age materials mentioned in `Voyager' are realities: working on both in the same day really provided a roller-coaster ride of perspectives. Except for poems written specifically for other people, my recent reentry into poetry is the first in approximately two years-so when I found I was suddenly thinking in that language I felt I'd received a blessing bestowed. It had caught me completely by surprise." |
