David Egge: |
(04/01/1990) |
David Egge is a Minneapolis artist who has illustrated for such magazines as Omni, Astronomy, Analog, Galileo, Asimov's, Science Digest, and Discover; done book covers for such companies as Del Rey, Berkley, Ace, and Pocket; and done visual effects for Davis Planetarium in Baltimore, Maryland, St. Paul's Science Museum of Minnesota Omnitheater, Walt Disney Productions, and the PBS science series, Cosmos. He writes, "I have a special interest in electronic music. I also enjoy keeping up on technical scientific advances. As a matter of fact it seems as if I do more science than art these days. I had one of my propulsion devices approved by Stephen Hawking in mid-1989, and am looking forward to working on many new and different types of technologies in the future." |
