John Hegenberger lives in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. An Ohio State University graduate in comparative literature, he has managed the advertising department for a Fortune 500 company, edited a men's magazine, and traveled the country dealing in old comic books. He is currently the entertainment editor for the This Week chain of Central Ohio suburban newspapers. By day, he writes both print and electronic copy for a variety of advertising, educational, and technical businesses. Wallace - Holmstead has recently published his Collector's Guide to Comic Books. A companion volume, Collector's Guide to Movie Memorabilia, will appear in spring 1991. He has sold stories to Mystery Scene, Filmfax, Galaxy, P.I., and Amazing Stories. He writes, "Of special note for `The Boris Killoff' is the fact that I'm an active member of both Science Fiction Writers of America (SFWA) and Private Eye Writers of America (PWA). This story combines the pop cultures." |
