Keith Allen Daniels: |
(12/27/1992) |
Keith Allen Daniels of Tallahassee, Florida, has been writing poetry since 1967 and publishing in the small press since 1975. A number of his poems have been nominated for the Clark Ashton Smith International Poetry Award and the Rhysling Award of the Science Fiction Poetry Association. He is the author of the chapbooks Weird Sonnets (Owl Creek Press, 1981), The Gryphon (BluntGuillotine Press, 1987), and What Rough Book (Anamnesis Press, 1992). He served four years as an officer in the U.S. Navy, has degrees in chemistry and engineering from the University of Rochester and the University of Florida, and is currently pursuing dual careers in polymer technology and desktop publishing. He enjoys hiking, camping, boating, and exploring the planet. His name is an anagram for "I killed Nathan's eel" and "kill the sea annelid," for which reason he briefly considered binding What Rough Book in eelskin. |
