John Hartnett lives in Minneapolis. He attended four different colleges in five years, finally landing feet first at the University of Illinois in Urbana / Champaign, graduating with a B.A. in economics and a second B.A. in philosophy. He is a graduate of the Terrorism Intelligence Course at Fleet Intelligence Training Command Pacific and a Gulf War veteran. He has published over 60 articles and stories in a wide variety of publications, including several sales to the Jerry Pournelle science fiction anthologies and a story with the fantasy antho Testament of Lael. He has taught writing and journalism at The Loft and the Minneapolis Public Schools Exploration Program, and is currently working on a book on the Gulf War and a science fiction novel. |
