Steve Carper: |
(04/01/1994) |
Steve Carper left a job with the City of Rochester, New York, in 1990 to "pursue an eclectic (i.e. low-paying) full-time writing career." His recent books include How to Tell if Your Kids are Using Drugs, co-written with exnarcotic detective Timothy Dimoff, and The Defective Detective: Mystery Parodies by the Great Humorists. His recent SF includes stories in Asimov's SF and Galaxy (revived), with stories forthcoming in Tomorrow and Pulphouse. He is working on a novel, a book on lactose intolerance, and 30 author entries for The Encyclopedia Galactica, "which meant rereading some 150 books, a major crimp in my schedule." |
