Joe Lindsay: |
(12/27/1996) |
Joe Lindsay writes, "I was born in Milwaukee in 1969. For the next 24 years I lived in random towns throughout Wisconsin and Missouri. I got my BS in computer science at Northeast Missouri State University and my MS in computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Having broken the Wisconsin/Missouri cycle, I am now living in Rochester, Minnesota, where I am a programmer at IBM. I am a member of the Root River Poets, as well as founder, chauffeur, and president for life of the American National Spap Oop Society (http://www.isl.net-hiwayman/ans os.htmtl). Most of my poetry falls into one (or both) of two categories: dark and depressing (I was known as the Thane of Pain in high school) or silly, bizarre, and surreal (see the aforementioned ANS0S home page for some examples). When I am not programming computers or writing poetry, I enjoy playing ultimate FrisbeeTM, working out, and roadtripping." |
