Robert J. Levy:
(08/08/1998) Robert J. Levy is the author of five poetry collections: The Glitter Bait (Arts-Wayland, 1986); Whistle Maker (Anhinga, 1987); Partly Green Till the Day We Die (State Street, 1990); The Perfection of Standing Aside (South Coast, 1993); and Chefs at Twilight (Bacchae, 1996). His work has been reprinted in anthologies from Harcourt Brace and McGraw-Hill, and published in Poetry; Paris Review; Kenyon Review; Georgia Review; Southern Review; Three Penny Review; Southwest Review; Boulevard; Pequod; North American Review; and many other magazines. He recently began writing science fiction and fantasy and has had stories in F&SF; Amazing Stories; Tomorrow; Pirate Writings; Terminal Fright; Transversions; the anthology Darkside; Horror for the New Millennium; and TOTU #17. He lives with his wife and son in New York City, where he has taught poetry workshops at Marymount Manhattan College, and where he makes his living as executive editor of United Features Syndicate.
