Don Webb: |
(08/07/1999) |
Don Webb lives in Austin, Texas. He writes, "For the last 13 years my short fiction has been cited in at least one year's best list-usually in two or three. I've had work made into comics, cassettes, and broadcast on the radio, and I've been interviewed in a nationally released documentary, Plutonium Circus, as a `science fiction writer."' His work has appeared in over 30 anthologies, including More Amazing Stories (Kim Mohan, ed.) and Black Raven, White Swan (Ellen Datlow & Terri Windling, eds.), and in 200 large and small magazines in the U.S., Great Britain, China, Canada, Mexico, Australia, France, India, Japan, Italy, and Norway, including Asimov's, F&SF, Science Fiction Age, Amazing, Galaxy, Wired, Realms of Fantasy, Interzone, and Pulphouse. Recent books of his are the mysteries The Double and Essential Saltes (St. Martin's). Blue Harvest, a film of one of his short stories, is being made in Austin, starring Wiley Wiggins (of Dead and Confused fame). |
