Maureen F. McHugh: |
(08/07/1999) |
Maureen F. McHugh lives in Twinsburg, Ohio. She is the author of the novels China Mountain Zhang (1992), Half the Day is Night (1994), and Mission Child (1998); and short stories in such markets as The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction (F&SF) including the Hugo-winning novelette, "The Lincoln Train"), Asimov's Science Fiction, and TOTU #15. She writes that lately, "I haven't done anything except teach, so just telling you I'm teaching fiction writing part time at John Carroll University should update you exactly-unless you're interested in knowing that we're now a two dog household because we inherited a miniature dachshund from my uncle and that she eats cicadas. (A very gross fact which has led us to call this the year of the seventeen-year appetizer)." |
