Kelly McCullough writes poetry, short stories and novels in fantasy science fiction and horror. His first published story appeared in Weird Tales #317. He has since become something of a regular there. His second professionally published story, The Sharp End, was a Writers of the Future winner in 2000. In 2005 and 2006 his work can be found in magazines including Weird Tales, Absolute Magnitude, Cosmic Speculative Fiction, Tales of the Unanticipated, and the anthologies The DNA Helix, Home At Last, and Tales From the Black Dog. An illustrated collection of Kelly's SF shorts entitled The Chronicles of the Wandering Star will be out in fall 2005 as part of a National Science Foundation-funded middle school science curriculum with a science fiction context. Two of his fantasy novels, WebMage and an unnamed sequel were recently purchased by ACE Books. WebMage will be released in August 2006. |
