Judith Huey is a Dothan, Alabama artist. She writes, "I am a wife, mom, artist, and chemistry/physics Auburn graduate. I enjoy reading big time, from computer manuals to romance, or from gardening to speculative fiction. On the web, I provide illustrations for neverworlds.com and twilighttimes.com. I will also have my first short story published with illustration in April with fantasytoday.com. E-book covers and POD covers are a fascination with me. I like the alternative reading materials and creative new authors. My covers appear with StoneDragonPress.com and another print publisher, speculations.com. E-book companies that use images are fictionworks.com, crossroadspub.com, newconceptspublishing.com, darkstarpublications.com/, whidbey.com/mountainview/ and bookmice.com. I recently received Best Cover Artist on the Web by sfwa.org/prededitors/perpawds.htm. Several galleries carry paintings, and I have participated in museum shows. I enjoy participating in wildlife conservation and have been Alabama's Wildlife Artist of the Year and created an Alabama Duck Stamp. I am currently painting to participate in a Botanical Garden Show." |
